MamaCash - Sashay Away 2024

Mama Cash’s staff retreat - catchily titled ‘Sashay Away’ is the moment when their global team gets to be in one place, once a year. Desta Haile and I facilitated their 4 days away. We worked closely with their board in the run up to coordinate sessions that reflected on the past work of Mama Cash, identify space for improvement and their plan on how to approach their year ahead. Desta and I used fun, participatory exercises drawing on the work of Augusto Boal (Theatre of the Oppressed) in sessions and incorporated feedback as we went to ensure staff needs were being met.
